The MAY is a network of Muslim Alumni of Yale University. The central aim of this group is to maintain a sense of community for its membership and ties to the alma mater. The primary goals of the MAY include:
- Providing financial and advisory support for the Muslim Students Association at Yale, also known as the MSA
- Developing and managing a database of Yale Muslim alumni
- Planning networking events for Yale Muslim alumni
- Maintaining ties with the Yale administration and relevant offices and departments
- Actively encouraging the recruitment of diverse students and faculty to Yale, especially to increase Muslim representation
- Co-sponsoring events with other alumni organizations and other Muslim organizations
